All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. We do run various background checks prior to acceptance.
The actor positions require a drive and desire to entertain our guests. Being a Scream Team volunteer is rewarding and fun. We accept individuals who are dependable, motivated, have reliable transportation, and will show up for their times they have scheduled themselves for. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals who show enthusiasm for the acting position they are seeking. It may not be as easy as it sounds as it requires a great deal of dedication and energy to be an actor on the Scary Acres Scream Team. We do run various background checks prior to acceptance.
The makeup artist position requires experience with airbrush and or latex makeup application. You need to have speed, creativity and dependability. You will be asked to perform a demonstration and/or provide a portfolio of your work. We do run various background checks prior to acceptance.
The ticket taker position is responsible for ensuring a proper flow of guests into the Attractions, providing guests with proper rules and regulations, collecting of tickets for the Attractions, and placing guests into groups to enter the Attractions. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We do run various background checks prior to acceptance.
